In episode 174 of Film Focus, I return to my Hopes and Fears series with my thoughts on the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2. With the sequel to the 2021 film wrapping up production recently, I thought it would be a fun idea to give some casual thoughts on the 2021 film nearly 3 years later, also briefly chat about how video game adaptations have risen up in recent years and then highlight a few key points that I am excited and afraid about with the MK sequel.
