Jim Thorpe, PGA Champions Tour player weighs in on The Golf Channel documentary he is a part of called "Uneven Fairways". It celebrates African-American contributions to golf and certainly documents some of the challenges they endured before being allowed on the PGA TOUR. Jim, who joined the PGA TOUR in 1972 comments on his fellow African-American players that paved the wave like Charlie Sifford, Lee Elder and Detroiter Calvin Peete, who was the most successful African American on the PGA Tour with 12 wins before Tiger emerged. Dave Marr III, NBC Golf joins us with comments about Jim Thorpe. Emily shares some feelings about Black History Month and has nice things to say about things going on in Detroit, specifically the City Bird, Run Detroit, Shinoloa Detroit efforts in Midtown.
