In The Mix With Reggie Thejazzman

I know this is a departure from th smooth jazz you're used to seeing but truth be told, I have soft spot for old school, in particular, ol' skool slow jams. Actually it's probably more like an obsession. The lyrics, that sound.....they just don't make em like that anymore.Here's a walk down memory lane (Minnie Riperton sung about that). I've been reflecting on my musical journey these last few days and these songs are part of my roots. It's called old school now but I was there when....The first 45 rpm I ever purchased was Otis Redding's "Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay" back in '69 and to this day, I'm still adding to my oldies collection. I miss those album covers, the warm sound of vinyl and all those groups that started with 'The'. Seems like just about all of them did! (there's a few notables in the playlist).
