1001 Stories For The Road

In Part Six we see Smith elected president of the colony in place of his former rival Ratcliffe, who had turned as many against Capt Smith as possible before his poor character was revealed to all by hoarding food and wine for himself.  Smith finds that Ratcliff was operating under an assumed name. Meanwhile, Newport arrives with a ship full of...not needed food and supplies...but a group of new colonists and supplies intended for the coronation of a new king of Virginia- King Powhatan.  A foolish move if ever there was one, to prop up Powhatan with a title, a new house, and a shipload of goodies.  This kills all of Smith's past efforts at trade and  sets up Powhatan with the confidence that he can get whatever he wants from the Great White Father and his lackey Capt. Newport.  Powhatan immediately decides he can starve out the colony to get weapons in return for food instead of copper and trinkets and kill Smith, who is no longer needed.   YOUR REVIEWS AT APPLE/ITUNES ARE NEEDED AND APPRECIATED!   Copy and P
