Yeshiva League Sports Update

Thanks Nachum! We have reached the end of May, which signals the beginning of the end to the 2023-2024 school year. Straight ahead on the Tuesday Morning JM in the AM Sports Update, a horrific week for teams East of NYC in soccer, familiar foes get set to meet up in girls varsity hockey and a dominating upset in girls softball. All that and more, good morning, I'm Elliot Weiselberg. We'll start out in Varsity soccer, where it was a terrible week for the East, as neither Boys nor Girls soccer had a quarterfinal winner outside of the Western Conference. In Boys Varsity dominant wins by Frisch, Kushner and TABC eliminated HANC, North Shore and Rambam, respectively, and, in a major upset, West #4 seed Ramaz went into the Greenhouse and knocked off East champ DRS 4-3 to advance. The semifinals will see TABC host Ramaz this coming Sunday and Frisch and Kushner within the week. The Frisch-Kushner contest will also occur between their female counterparts, as the Girls Varsity playoffs
