This Is My Toronto

My guest today is lead singer and guitarist Casey Van from the band Turbo Street Funk. This New Orleans inspired Brass Rock Band started out here in Toronto busking at Queen and Spadina back in 2011. In 2014, a chance meeting with one of their idols allowed them to record their very first record entitled “To The Street” and they’ve been continuing to build their name and reputation ever since. Today, we talk about the band, their influences, what the future holds and who that “chance” meeting was with back in 2014. Before we get started, I’d like to make a request.
