Today we're "jumping the shark" by having Canadian film icon, Don McKellar on the show. His work includes such masterpieces as Roadkill, Highway 61, Twitch City, The Drowsy Chaperone, Blindness, The Grand Seduction, Sensitive Skin, and my personal favourite, The Red Violin. Today, we're going to talk to Don about where it all began, the importance of family, his many collaborators, and why he stayed in Toronto, where many would have gone to Hollywood or New York.
