He is also an Associate Fellow at the UK-based Council on Geostrategy and a Senior Fellow at the Ottawa-based Macdonald-Laurier Institute.  Susannah Patton is Director of the Southeast Asia program at the Lowy Institute and the Project Lead for the Asia Power Index.
