Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox came from behind and beat the Rangers, 7-2, in the series finale Sunday afternoon in Arlington, TX. It was the Red Sox 25th come-back win of the season. Sox take 2 of 3 in Arlington and win their 2nd straight series after losing their 1st 3 Series out of the All-Star Break. ----- Wilyer Goes Yard 2X!: Wilver Abreu tied the game at 2-2 with a solo Home Run in the 4th Inning. It was his 2nd of the Series. His 2nd of the game and 3rd of the Series came with 2 runners on in the 6th Inning and gave the Sox a 6-2 lead. The 2nd Home Run traveled 430' and was his 1st this season against a lefty pitcher. Abreu was caught by the cameras on the NESN telecast in the 4th Inning getting emotional and perhaps with tears in his eyes. Teammates did come over to check in on him and picked him up. NESN's Tom Caron posted on X that Abreu recieved sad news on a family member late Saturday night. ----- Pivetta's Day in Arlington: Nick Pivetta gave up just 2 hits in his start on Sunday. They were both solo Home Runs ove
