Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox evened up their series at 1-1 with the Astros with a 6-5 victory Tuesday night at Minute Maid Park. The Red Sox are now 3-3 on their current 7-Game Road Trip that wraps up Wednesday afternoon. The Sox ended a 7-game losing streak against the Astros that dated back to last season. ----- Have A Night!- Jarren Duran had a huge night at the plate in leading the Red Sox to their 1st win of the season against the Astros. Duran broke a 5-5 tie in the 8th Inning with his 2nd Home Run of the Series and his 17th on the year. Duran led off the game with a Double and went 4-for-4 on the night with a walk and 3 runs scored. Duran now has 68 Extra-Base Hits thru his 1st 123 Games. He leads the American League with 38 Doubles. ----- Close the Door: Kenley Jansen entered for the 9th Inning (his 4th appearance in 5 games) in a 1-run Game and retired the side in order to close the door on the Sox 66th win of the season.
