Vice President Kamala Harris proposes higher income taxes, corporate taxes, capital gains, and taxing unrealized capital gains as well... and all of this tax-talk has the guys asking "Are we being taxed into oblivion?" As John points out, we're being taxed on the money we make, the money we spend, the money we give away, and even the money we leave behind after we die, and all other kinds of taxes in-between... And Lee points out an economic model which shows at what point a tax burden overexceeds the revenue it would bring in. Other than taxes, they talk about the state of interest rates impacting CDs, money markets, and other cash-holding options, and they're looking forward to college football season!
