This week Chris dons Stetson and spurs to mosey on down to Calgary to explore one of Canada’s biggest and most flamboyant festivals – The Calgary Stampede. Every year Calgary draws over a million visitors for this ebullient celebration of Western Culture. The success of the Stampede is in part due to the sheer diversity of attractions and entertainment – from Country Singers to Rodeo Riders, from First Nations displays to agricultural displays and from Chuck Wagon Races to Fireworks to Deep Fried Cookie Dough on a stick…….No wonder they call it the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth!
