Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox failed to complete a series sweep over the White Sox on Sunday afternoon and dropped the finale, 7-2, at Fenway Park. It's the 3rd time since the All-Star Break where the Red Sox were unable to pull off a series sweep.  Zack Kelly gave up 5 runs in the 9th Inning and he took the loss.               -----Fitts Debut: Richard Fitts was told Saturday that he was being called up to make his MLB debut in Sunday's finale against the White Sox. The 24-year-old pitched in front of family and friends and did not allow a run over the 1st 5 Innings and exited with 2 outs in the 6th.  Fitts was charged with 2 runs in his final inning, and both runs were unearned.  Fitts got out of 2 jams by getting inning-ending Double Plays in the 4th and again in the 5th.  He ended up with a no-decision in his 1st start in the Big Leagues.  Fitts is the 9th player and youngest to make his MLB for the Red Sox this season.   #80's Line: 5.2 IP. 6 Hits. 2 R. 0 ER. 1 BB. 2 K. 66 P/44 Strikes.            -----Out of the Pen- Gre
