Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox finished their 6-Game Road Trip with an 8-3 loss to the Mets at Citi Field Wednesday night.  The Red Sox went 1-5 on their trip through Detroit and New York and have lost 5 in a row for the 1st time this season and have now been swept 6 times this season and for the 3rd time on the road.                         -----On the Board 1st: Tanner Houck got off to a rough start Wednesday night.  The Sox starter allowed the 1st 3 hitters to reach with a pair of singles and a walk.  After Houck struck out Pete Alonso, he allowed a Grand Slam to Jesse Winker.  Houck retired the next 2 batters and went on to retire 13 in a row at 1 point and he also struck out 6 straight hitters during that stretch.  Houck gave up a couple of hits with 2 outs in the 5th, but stranded both runners to end his night.#89's Final Line- 5.0 IP. 5 Hits. 4 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 7 Ks. 1 Home Run allowed.  -----Sox on the Board: The Red Sox scored all 3 of their runs and got to within a run in the 3rd against Mets starter Tylor MeGill.  Jarr
