Patrick returns to Musical Chairs as the guys cover two more epic bands from the pages of rock's history book. For several weeks now, Patrick has made it known that he planned on covering Alice In Chains for his next band, and that would come to pass with this Episode. Formed in the late 80s, Alice In Chains rose to rock prominence in the early 90's with some of the most iconic songs from that entire era. Despite losing one of the most recognizable frontmen of that time frame (Layne Staley), the band has forged on and is still making great music to this day. Dave, on the other hand, covers Rainbow. After leaving Deep Purple, Ritchie Blackmore created Rainbow, and despite an ever-changing lineup of singers and band members, Rainbow certainly left its mark and became a staple of the early days of MTV.
