All Four Quarters

It’s Week 3, and like many a recent season, we have very little sense of who’s good and who’s a fraud. The 49ers might be frauds, based on their collapse against the injury-hit Rams. The Bengals, who dropped to 0-3 after their defense was completely incapable of stopping the Jayden Daniels-inspired Commanders offense, probably are frauds. As for the Chiefs, who stumbled past the Falcons, and the Lions, who looked solid against the Cardinals, the AFQ boys are a little more upbeat. Andy Dalton’s performance against the Raiders suggests that Bryce Young at least is a fraud; and the Eagles and Saints’ offensive struggles against each other asks many fraud-related questions too. We break down all the action from Week 3, focusing on those six games. We also look at the recent news, from Derwin James’s suspension to the latest collection of players added to the league-wide injury crisis. In our Week 4 previews, we focus on a big NFC North battle between the surprising Vikings and the impressive Packers, another pot
