Send us a textNOW AVAILABLE!!! www.fowlplayersradio.comIf you grew up in the 70's and 80's in Baltimore, the name George Lewis should mean something to you. Ring a bell? Or maybe several "bells"? (How many was it again for "Batman"?) If not, then perhaps the name Captain Chesapeake does? That's right! In this episode we are joined by his daughter Tracy Lewis Collins who tells us lots of great stories about Captain C's many years in broadcasting- where it all began one day after the end of World War 2 all the way through him and a few colleagues starting WBFF 45, a small independent television station in 1971 until they were bought by Fox in the late 1980s. (Think UHF by Weird Al Yankovic, but in real life) Enjoy this trip down memory lane with us! A beloved piece of Baltimore broadcasting history for sure!!Subscribe for free at www.fowlplayersradio.com or listen wherever you find podcasts online. No matter what platform you listen on, you can help us greatly by giving us
