A whistleblower recently exposed an alleged risk-adjustment scheme that was apparently designed to artificially inflate reimbursement provided under Medicare Part C, aka Medicare Advantage (MA).The accompanying lawsuit alleged that GHC hired an outside vendor to review and “improve” its risk adjustment scores.
