More payment cuts are being proposed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for next year, a move sure to impact the many hospitals participating in the 340B drug discount program, as described in the 2021 Medicare Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) Proposed Rule.Such proposed cuts are expected to reduce Medicare Part B drug payments to levels lower than in 2018, when the last round of cuts were made.
