A word from the founder: My name is Tara Fountain, and I am the founder of PURPLE Women, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. In 2011, the Lord led my family and I to Loganville, GA from CT. And I knew it was with great purpose and also knew I had to just be obedient and trust God in the unknown. So, about a year later, God started to birth a great passion within me for his daughters. I mean, this was a strong desire as if they were my daughters. He then gave me a vision of the mission, and my answer was devotedly YES! And it was like I experienced the birthing of a child, locking eyes with it, wanting to protect it, and felt an unspeakable feeling of joy. It was the best feeling I have ever felt in my life. I believe I even let out a scream of such excitement. It was truly a spiritual birthing experience. God then surrounded me with a group of women who believed in the mission and shared the same passion. We then started meeting and planning. I just knew this was about to take off.
