As with all relationships, they know they need to be talking openly and spending time together outside of work where they can tend their personal connection. They realize they haven't been doing that much since the holiday intensity of Christmas, which put them in the mode of "get things done" rather than teamwork. The other thing that has changed their dynamic is that Kat is in a new relationship! Ginger also feels like she's in a new relationship since she has rekindled with David.
