The Southern Surf Stomp Fest returns to Little Tree Art Studios in Avondale Estates on Saturday, September 21, with a day filled with pure kerrang and science fiction-fueled rock ‘n’ roll. The festivities begin the night before, (Sept. 20) with a Friday night pre-party at Trader Vic’s in the Hilton Hotel Downtown. The Disasternauts, the Manakooras (feat. Jeremy DeHart formerly of the Aqualads), and DJ Big Tiki Dude set the weekend in motion. Saturday’s festival lineup features performances by The Madeira from Indianapolis, Insect Surfers from Los Angeles (celebrating the group's 40th anniversary), Surfer Joe from Livorno, Italy), the Flamethrowers from Athens, the Intoxicators from Tallahassee, alongside hometown heroes Fiend Without A Face (feat. Brent Hinds of Mastodon), the Mystery Men?, the Surge, and El Capitan and the Reluctant Sadists.
