With the year 1968, horror movies changed a bit with the double combo of Night of the Living Dead and Rosemary's Baby. Cinema, in general changed too, with rating systems and new types of moviemakers appearing on the scene. Coppola, Scorsese, Schlesinger, Boorman, Peckinpah, and Leone, just to name a few changed everything. But prior to that golden year, there were fantastic films that still hold up as great achievements, goofy fun, or time capsules to another age.
