Kecia has performed since the age of 10 in talent shows, pageants, private parties, churches and nightclubs. She writes her original music on her antique upright Wurlitzer piano that she's had since childhood. Although not a traditional country artist, Kecia has played most all of Nashville's Broadway honky tonks as well as the famous Printer's Alley. She has worked as a demo singer for songwriters such as Johnny Christopher ("Always on My Mind"), and has shared the stage with notable singers such as Lorrie Morgan and Joanne Cash Yates. Kecia plays regularly at most of Nashville's writer venues including the Bluebird Cafe and the Commodore Lounge. She is
