Segment A: Call the Midwife In conjunction with WHRO TV 15's September 30th premier of the hit BBC show, "Call the Midwife," host Cathy Lewis is joined by two modern day midwives; women who've dedicated themselves to ensuring that women have safe and healthy pregnancies and deliveries. One of whom is based right here in Hampton Roads, the other joins us live from the Indonesian province of Bali, where she provides free neonatal care and birthing assistance for the island's poorest women. Segment B: Life in Hampton Roads Each year, Old Dominion University's Social Science Research Center conducts a "Life in Hampton Roads" survey. This year marks the third edition of the telephone survey designed to gauge the "mood" of our region. We'll speak with the creators of the survey and see how Hampton Roads residents feel about diverse issues and topics ranging from transportation and the environment to military service and safety.
