Walking among us are many unsung heroes of Hampton Roads. On this special edition of HearSay, we profile some of them and hear about the lives they impact every day. WHRO and Dominion Virginia Power recently announced the 2012 Community Impact Award recipients. Categories in the awards are: Education, Environment, Health and Public Safety, Regionalism, and Social Justice. On today's program we bring you the stories of those who were honored both at this year's ceremony and also in 2011. These men, women, and organizations are those who move quietly among us and leave a lasting legacy.
