Sinopsis

In part two of this series on why college is a scam, I break down a few more key issues. First, not all degrees are equal, and simply having one doesn’t always put you in a better position. Then, I talk about credential inflation—how companies started requiring more advanced degrees while colleges and banks profited by charging more and giving out more loans. Finally, I discuss how degrees used to mean a lot, but that’s not the case anymore, even though many people still hold onto outdated beliefs. It’s important to understand where others' beliefs come from to avoid being misled. Show Notes: [02:39]#4 People have bad ideas of what a degree means because they are not all created equal.  [20:07]#5 The credential inflation.
