Michael lmhotep host of The African History Network Show discusses the opening of the National Memorial for Peace and Justice and The Legacy Museum in Montgomery, Alabama that commemorates 4,400 African Americans who were the victims of lynchings in the U.S. from 1877 - 1950. One of the reasons why lynchings took place is because some African American men were prosperous businessman and this caused jealousy among some Whites who killed them.
