A few years ago, a Pasco friend retired in Colombia and kept bugging me to visit.  I saw no reason to.  South America was never on my travel radar.  The food alone is enough to go back again and again.  Whether it's pan de la abuela in Bogota or a peanut butter banana coffee smoothie in Medellin, I've got lots of places for you to try.  But no matter what you do, make sure you get some pan de la abuela.  It's what you see in the photo for this episode.  It's my favorite food anywhere and it's criminally cheap.
