Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox picked up a series victory over the Cleveland Guardians with a 13-3 victory in the series finale Sunday afternoon at Progressive Field.  The Red Sox put up 5 runs in the 5th inning to break the game open.  Rob Refsnyder, Rafael Devers & Ceddanne Rafaela all hit Home Runs in the Red Sox win.  With the win in Sunday's series finale, the Red Sox have won a series vs. the Guardians for the 1st time since late April of 2023.  -----Scoring 1st: Rob Refsnyder got the Red Sox on the board 1st with a Home Run to lead off the Top of the 2nd Inning off of Logan Allen. It's Refsnyder's 2nd Home Run of the season.  The Red Sox are now (11-2 Updated #) when scoring the 1st run of the game.  -----Hitter's Notes: Ceddanne Rafaela made it 12-3 with a 3-run Home Run in the 7th Inning. Rafaela had a Double, Home Run & 5 RBIs in the lopsided victory.  Jarren Duran collected 4 hits in Sunday's finale. It's his 1st of the season and comes after collecting 3 hits in the nightcap of the Doubleheader on Saturday.
