Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox wrapped up their series with the Mariners and lost the finale, 4-3 Thursday afternoon at Fenway.  The Red Sox won the opener Tuesday night and lost the next 2 and finished 4-3 on their homestand against the Chicago White Sox and Mariners. The Red Sox never led in the finale and Seattle got on the board 1st in all 3 games, scoring at least 1 run in the 1st Inning in all 3 games.    -----Not at His Best- Garrett Crochet gave up 2 runs in the 1st and 2 more in the 2nd Inning against the Mariners Thursday.  The 4 earned runs allowed are a season-high for the lefty.  Crochet worked his only 1-2-3 inning in the 3rd.  He allowed 2 base runners and struck out 3 in the 4th and did the same in the 5th Inning.  He ended up throwing 110 Pitches and exited with the Red Sox trailing, 4-2.
