The Red Sox dropped an 8-5 decision to the Seattle Mariners Wednesday night at Fenway Park. Sean Newcomb took the loss.  The Red Sox are now 4-2 on their current homestand that wraps up Thursday afternoon.  The Red Sox have won 6 straight series finales and will look to make it 7 in a row in the rubber game of the 3-game set with Seattle.
