Faoi Thalamh Records are set to release the next instalment in its various artists series. This third iteration aims to serve as a snapshot of Irish underground electronic music, with some of the most exciting artists currently operating in Éire and beyond. Today we premiere MEJMI's track from the VA entitled, “Tike Myson”. “Tike Myson” is a powerful exploration of identity and emotion, drawing inspiration from Sunil Sharpe's "Etaci." This track features a hard-hitting kick that drives the energy forward, complemented by a rumbling bassline that creates an uplifting "Irish drive," reminiscent of traditional Irish music. From the outset, a high-pitched tense drone establishes a sense of anticipation, which finds release in a beautiful choir during the breakdown—a signature element of my production style.
