Longtime UM System president Dr. Mun Choi is currently in his ninth year in the position. He also serves as the Mizzou chancellor. President Choi started in his position in March 2017. While the Missouri House’s Friday budget vote eliminated $50-million for NextGen MURR, the final budget approved by Missouri lawmakers on Friday includes a three percent overall increase for Mizzou.
