Lessons Learned

On this episode we sit and chat with one of my favorite students and national champion wrestler Mason Milsaps. This episode was a long time coming, a year plus to be exact. As a 7th grader Mason had pleaded with me to let him on the podcast so he could share his story. I told him that we could bring him back his junior or senior year after he had won some state titles. Fast forward a little bit and this young man has done quite a bit more than that. He will be off next week to compete at the world games representing the red, white, and blue. Before he left we made it a point to bring him in studio and chop it up. This incredible young man is more than just a personality and a good wrestler. He recently lost his mother a few years back and struggles with Dyslexia. By all accounts he should be trending down and has every excuse to not be doing good.
