The Red Sox (26-26) finally opened up their 4-game series against the Baltimore Orioles and put up 19 runs and 20 hits in a 19-5 thumping of the Orioles at Fenway Park.  The Red Sox trailed 2-1 going to the bottom of the 6th and put up 5 runs in the inning with the big blow coming on a 3-run Home Run from Rafael Devers. In the 8th, Rob Refsnyder hit a 3-run Home Run and Devers hit a Grand Slam in the Sox 13-run Inning. It was Devers 2nd Grand Slam in a week. The 2nd game of the scheduled doubleheader was postponed and will be made up on Saturday.  -----Bregman Scare- Alex Bregman reached with a single off the Green Monster in the 5th Inning and left immediately for a pinch-runner.  The team announced that Bregman exited early with tightness in his right quad.
