Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox (29-32) ended up their road trip with a 3-1 win over the Atlanta Braves Sunday afternoon at Truist Park in Atlanta. The Red Sox took the opener Friday night and the finale on Sunday and won the series over the Braves. The Sox went 2-4 on their trip to Milwaukee and Atlanta. Greg Weisert & Aroldis Chapman both worked scoreless innings out of the Red Sox bullpen.   -----Crochet Day: Garrett Crochet took the mound for the 9th time this season after the Red Sox had lost the previous game. Crochet gave up a 1st-Inning Home Run to Marcell Ozuna and that was it as he picked up his 5th win of the season. Crochet gave up 5 Hits, walked 2 (both to the No. 9 hitter Nick Allen) and struck out 12. He finished up by striking out the side in the Bottom of the 7th.  Crochet got 22 swings & misses last time out against the Brewers and 23 swings & misses against the Braves on Sunday.  -----Tough Times at the Plate: Jarren Duran went 0-for-5 on Sunday and went 0-for-14 in the Series against Braves pitchi
