Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox (28-32) closed out the month of May with a (5-0) loss to the Atlanta Braves Saturday afternoon at Truist Park in Atlanta. It's the 1st time this season the Red Sox have been shutout.  The Red Sox have lost 6 of 7 overall and 7 of their last 8 on the road. Spencer Schwellenbach celebrated his 25th Birthday on Saturday by striking out 11 and walking no one over 6.1 scoreless innings. The Red Sox managed only 5 hits, all singles, against Schwellenbach, who picked up his 2nd win of the season against the Red Sox.    -----Buehler's Day On the Bump: Walker Buehler took the loss for the Red Sox on Saturday. The right-hander gave up 5 earned runs on 10 hits over 5.2 Innings.  He gave up Home Runs to Austin Riley and Ronald Acuna Jr in the Braves 4-run 4th Inning.
