The Red Sox (31-35) evened up their series in the Bronx with a 10-7 victory over the Yankees Saturday night. The Sox went in front for good with a 5-run 3rd Inning against losing pitcher Ryan Yarbrough, who allowed 8 earned runs. The Red Sox out-hit the Yankees, 14-7, and 4 different hitters had multi-hit games. Aroldis Chapman worked a 1-2-3 9th for his 10th Save. -----Crochet Day: Garrett Crochet gave up a season-high 5 earned runs but still managed to pick up his 6th win of the season. Crochet exited with an 8-5 lead after 6 Innings of work. He gave up a 3-run Home Run to Austin Wells in the 2nd Inning. The Sox ace walked 1, struck out 9 and now leads the Majors with 109 strikeouts. Crochet struck out Aaron Judge 3 times on the night. -----Sox At The Dish: Romy Gonzalez collected his 2nd 3-hit game of the season in the Red Sox win Saturday night. Gonzalez hit a 2-out, 2-run Home Run in the 4th Inning to put the Red Sox up 8-3. It was his 1st of the season. Kristian Campbell had a pair of RBI singles
