The Red Sox (38-37) season-high 6-game win streak came to an end Tuesday night with the Seattle Mariners thumping the Red Sox, 8-0, at T-Mobile Park in Seattle. The Red Sox were held to 2 hits, had 5 total base runners and were shutout for the 2nd time this season. Marcelo Mayer led off the 5th with a single off winning pitcher Bryan Woo and Nate Eaton had a leadoff single in the 9th.-----Rough 1 For Buehler: Walker Buehler got the start in Game 2 of the series against the Mariners Tuesday night, and he ended up with the loss. Buehler lasted just 3.1 innings and was charged with 8 earned runs. Cal Raleigh highlighted the Mariners 5-run 2nd Inning against Buehler with a Grand Slam.  Buehler gave up 3 more runs and was chased from the game in the 4th Inning. The Red Sox are now 7-5 in Buehler's 1st 12 outings.
