Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox (40-43) returned home from their longest road trip of the season and lost their season-high 6th in a row with a 9-0 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays in front of 35,710 at Fenway Park Friday night. The Red Sox are back to 3 games below .500 with the loss in the series opener. -----Bello on the Bump: Brayan Bello made the start in Friday night's series opener and ended up taking the loss. Bello gave up single runs in each of the 1st 3 Innings, with 2 of the 3 runs coming with 2 outs. Bello ended up going 6 Innings in his outing.  The Sox are now 6-7 in Bello's 1st 13 starts for the season and 1-5 in his last 6 starts.     -----Sox at the Dish: The Red Sox had the leadoff man reach twice in 7 Innings against Blue Jays starting pitcher Jose Berrios and both times the leadoff man was erased on a groundball Double Play. Berrios struck out the leadoff man 4 times in 7 Innings. Berrios walked 1, struck out 8 and was 17-for-24 on 1st-pitch strikes. Connor Wong struck out with runners at 1st & 2nd and 1 Ou
