The Red Sox (40-42) ended their longest road trip of the season with a 5-2 loss to the Los Angeles Angels Wednesday afternoon at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA. The Sox close the trip with 5 straight losses and were swept in a road series for the 3rd time this season. -----Still WITHOUT A WIN: Richard Fitts rejoined the Red Sox rotation with the start in the finale on Wednesday. Fitts was staked to an early 2-0 lead but gave up the lead when he surrendered back-to-back Home Runs to Jo Adell and Travis d'Arnaud in the 4th Inning. Fitts exited after 4 Innings he allowed 2 earned runs on 4 hits. He walked 1, struck out 6 and ended up with a no-decision. The Red Sox are now 0-6 in Fitts 6 outings this season and 0-10 in his 1st 10 career starts. Fitts has allowed 7 Home Runs this season & all 7 have come against Right-Handed Hitters. -----Sox at the Dish: Trevor Story got the Red Sox on the board 1st with a 2-out, 2-run Single in the 1st Inning off winning pitcher Yusei Kikuchi.
