The Red Sox (40-40) lost their 3rd straight game with a 9-5 setback to the Los Angeles Angels in the series opener Monday night at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA. The Angels scored 5 in the 1st Inning and 4 more runs in the 8th Inning. The Red Sox are now at .500 for the 15th time this season. Red Sox pitchers issued a season-high 11 walks in the loss. -----Sox at the Dish: The Sox put together 5 straight singles in the Top of the 1st Inning and plated 3 runs. Connor Wong picked up his 1st RBI of the season with a Sacrifice Fly in the 4th Inning and that brought the Red Sox to within a run.
