Tommy Kahnle surrendered the lead in the 8th inning after allowing 5 consecutive Nationals to reach safely. Jahmai Jones gave the Detroit Tigers a 4-3 lead in the 8th with a two-run double, but Detroit could not hold the lead. Detroit Tigers and Washington Nationals split the double header and will play the rubber match of the series tomorrow evening.
