Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox (42-44) closed out the month of June with a 13-6 victory in the series opener against the Cincinnati Reds on Monday night at Fenway Park. The Sox had a winning month of June with a 14-12 mark. The Sox collected 14 hits including 8 extra-base hits vs. Reds pitching. Everyone in the starting lineup had at least 1 Hit. -----Crochet Day: Garrett Crochet got the start in the series opener and retired the 1st 10 hitters he faced. Crochet ran into trouble in the 4th giving up 3 runs in the inning. Crochet gave up 5 runs (4 ER) for the 2nd time this season but still ended up whit his 8th win of the season and his first of the season at Fenway Park. Crochet went 4-0 with 2 No-Decisions in June.
