Locked On Reds

The Cincinnati Reds picked up a 4-2 win over the Colorado Rockies on Sunday afternoon, marking manager Terry Francona’s 2000th career managerial victory. TJ Friedl set the tone early with a solo home run in the first inning, giving the Reds an early lead. After the Rockies briefly went ahead in the third, the Reds responded with a tying run and later capitalized on a Noelvi Marte grounder that led to an error in the fifth. Spencer Steer added insurance with an RBI in the seventh, while the Reds bullpen delivered 4 2/3 shutout innings following a solid start from Nick Martinez.
