The Cincinnati Reds shut out the Miami Marlins 6-0 on Thursday afternoon at Great American Ball Park, splitting the four-game series. Nick Lodolo was brilliant on the mound, tossing six scoreless innings with four strikeouts and no walks. Spencer Steer launched a solo home run, while Elly De La Cruz delivered a clutch bases-loaded RBI to spark the offense. Austin Hays added three RBIs, and Matt McLain chipped in with two key walks to keep the momentum going.
