The Cincinnati Reds defeated the Miami Marlins 7-2 on Wednesday night at Great American Ball Park, snapping their four-game losing streak. The offense came out hot with three first-inning runs, highlighted by the first of two doubles from Elly De La Cruz. Andrew Abbott delivered a dominant performance, going 7 2/3 innings and allowing just one earned run. Every Reds starter recorded a hit, with Noelvi Marte and Will Benson each launching home runs.
