Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox (47-45) extended their win streak to 4 in a row with a 9-3 win over the Colorado Rockies Monday night in front of 32,441 at Fenway Park. The Sox have also won 7 of 9 overall and are 2 games over .500.   -----Sox at the Dish: The Rockies took a 1-0 lead in the Top of the 2nd, but the lead was short-lived. In the Home 2nd Inning, Wilyer Abreu tied the game at 1-1 with an opposite field Double. Abraham Toro followed and put the Red Sox up 3-1 with a 2-run Double. The Red Sox added on with a little 2-out Magic in the Bottom of the 5th. Romy Gonzalez kept the inning alive with a 2-out Triple. Roman Anthony followed and hit a 2-run Homer to centerfield (418') to make it 5-1. It is his 2nd Big League Home Run and his 1st at Fenway. Anthony collected his 3rd hit of the game with a 1-out Single in the 7th and he scored all the way from 1st on a pinch-hit Single from Jarren Duran.
