Born Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson to an upper middle class family, little Jeanny was remarkable from a young age. Of course it wasn't long until she caught the eye of the king. She was the official mistress of King Louis XV and a highly influential figure in the French court. She was a patron of the arts and sciences, a talented singer and musician, and a great conversationalist. We get it, Jean. You're perfect.
